Guinea Pig Piercings

Our apprentice Nick is ready to start piercing guinea pigs for just the cost of jewelry. The deal is that he is new, he has almost no experience but needs to learn some how! I (Rickey) will be standing by watching and ready to jump in a finish the piercing if need be. There is some risk associated with being a guinea pig, but it is minimal, he has been training for several months now, and knows how to perform the piercing, just needs to actually do it now.
He needs to perform the following piercings:
- Navel
- Nostril
- Anything on the bottom lip
- Basic Cartilage
- Basic Lobes
- Eyebrow

Opening Tomorrow

Opening the New Shop on Friday.
It’s been a long stressful week at the shop (especially for Kimo, Linda, and Terry) but the new shop opens tomorrow. We’ve been closed for business the last three days and ignored tons of phone calls, but its worth it, come and see the new shop!
It’s 98% complete, but the pool table (thats right!) and arcade games aren’t in yet, they’re coming Monday. But there is no doubt we now have the largest nicest, and more importantly cleanest shop in the Texoma area. We now have comfortable waiting areas as well, but with 5 tattoo booths and a piercing room you won’t be waiting long.
UPDATE: We now have a pool table!
The pics below where taken while everyone was checking on final details and trying to figure out what we have forgotten, lol. I’m sure we’ll look stupid for a few weeks trying to find where things are.
We’re almost there…

Most of the guys at the shop have been working their ass off this week on getting the new shop painted and ready to move into. We where aiming at a September 1st opening, but due to delays typical of any construction project we are now aiming at September 15th to be our grand opening. The final date will be posted as soon as we know.
We had several set backs on painting, including wrong colors, bad time frames, and uneven walls, but all in all it’s coming along nicely. I know personally I can’t wait to move to the new shop, our current one gets incredibly crowded and has almost no elbow room on a weekend night. We’ll be going from not quite 1000 square feet to almost 3000 square feet!
We got the new open sign in the other day. This thing is awesome, and around 4 feet high. We also have several other laser etched/l.e.d. signs for inside the shop. One for the piercing room, the game room (did I mention we have a freakin’ arcade?), Kimo’s station, and more.
Big Ray and Julie, former owners of Texoma Skin Art, and husband-n-wife tattoo artist team will be rejoining us at Gee’s 2 Tattoos when the new shop opens. So if you’ve been looking for them thats where they will be!
That gives Gee’s 2 Tattoos more artist, and more combined years experience than any other shop in North Texas. Kimo did the math the other day and I believe it came out to something like 107 years combined experience between 7 artist. Which means we can offer better service, and handle more customers than anyone else. So come check us out when we open the new shop!
New Shirts Being Printed

In light of all the new media we have now we opted for new shirts as well. This is the back of the black t-shirts. We will also have ladies t’s as well with this image on the front. We don’t have them in yet, but we will soon, they are being printed this week.
We also have new bumper stickers here already. If you want one come and get it!
This has been a nice year for us, so far we have the following new things happening or fixing to happen:
- New Shop
- New Website
- New Business Cards
- New T-Shirts
- New Employees
- New Paved Parking Area
- And more I can’t even remember right now…
New site, new shop, and more…

Gee’s 2 is |this| close to opening the new shop. Kimo was at the shop yesterday painting, then the floors and final touches. Wednesday a new parking area was paved, and soon the a/c system will be put in. They have really built an awesome shop, it’s gonna be the biggest in the area, almost 3,000 square foot.
I can’t wait to move over, we are totally cramped in the current shop. The new one has 5 tattoo booths, a piercing room, sterilization room, arcade, pool table, etc… It’s huge and awesome.
Now I just have to finish this site and get the content rolling by time the shop opens. We have new business cards (by me), new t-shirts, new bumper stickers (also by me), and now a soon to be completed website.
Crappy cell phone pics. But I did finally mail my broke digital in to get replaced.
